Hearts of Joy Nursing Home Ministry
“God sets the lonely in families,” Psalm 68:6.
Hearts of Joy is a team of dedicated volunteers who bring the love of Jesus to those who are in long-term care convalescent homes. These residents have few, if any, visitors and are often forgotten about. Our visitation teams spend time talking, listening, praying, and bringing these people comfort and hope.
Freedom Prison Ministry
“I was in prison and you came to visit me,” Matthew 25:36.
Freedom Prison Ministry is a faithful team of volunteers who travel to various men’s and women’s correctional institutions around the state to bring the message of Gospel through worship, teaching, sermons, and one-on-one visitation. The goal is to spread the life-giving hope of Jesus Christ and the promise of freedom from sin He purchased for them on the cross.
Further, in partnership with Angel Tree, a project of Prison Fellowship, our prison ministry team coordinates an annual church-wide drive to provide and deliver Christmas gifts to the children of inmates who cannot be with their families for the holidays.
Kingdom Kids Choir
Kingdom Kids Choir is an extension of our Hearts of Joy nursing home visitation ministry and is comprised of children in Kindergarten thru 5th grade. Each spring and winter our children tour numerous convalescent homes spreading the love of Jesus Christ through song and smiles. Our goal is to help our children grow in confidence in their gifts and talents while most importantly demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ to all those around them. Our choir practices every Sunday morning from 8:45–10, September thru May.
